Lubrication treatment and quality requirements for cold drawn tubes

- Apr 02, 2019-

The cold drawn pipe is a manufacturing method of the cold drawn pipe which can reduce the inner surface grinding amount of the product and reduce the number of cold drawing times of the cold drawn pipe, and honing the inner and outer surfaces of the round steel pipe, and then , head making, lubrication treatment, cold drawing, straightening and shearing are carried out in sequence to obtain a cold drawn tube.

Before the round steel pipe is made, the inner and outer surfaces are honed to eliminate the problems of grinding, scratching and non-rounding, thereby reducing the number of cold drawing and improving the production efficiency and quality of the cold drawn pipe. It is especially suitable for making high-precision cold-drawn tubes during operation. Hydraulic cylinders can be made with this high-precision cold drawn tube.

The solid solution strengthening element of the cold drawn tube generally has the highest phosphorus toughness and brittle transformation temperature, as well as molybdenum, titanium and vanadium. When the content is low, the effect is low, and when the content is high, the toughness-brittle transformation temperature is increased. The elements are silicon, chromium and copper, which reduce the toughness-brittle transition temperature of nickel, and firstly reduce the toughness-brittle transition temperature of manganese.
