The hydraulic cylinder has a role in avoiding cavitation. Although it has many reasons for the avoidance of cavitation, as long as the measures are taken to avoid it, cavitation can still be avoided. In view of the causes of cavitation, the measures to be taken will be discussed below.


1. Strictly select hydraulic oil in strict accordance with the oil standard. Choosing a good hydraulic oil can cause bubbles to appear in the hydraulic system during the working process. When selecting oil, choose according to the temperature in different regions, and fill the hydraulic oil according to the standard of the dipstick. At the same time, keep the hydraulic system clean (when filling the hydraulic oil, water and other impurities should be brought in). Check the oil quality, oil level and oil color of the hydraulic oil frequently. If you find blisters or bubbles in the hydraulic oil, or the oil turns milky white, you should carefully find the source of the air in the oil and eliminate it in time.


2. Don't over-high oil temperature, reduce hydraulic shock. Reasonable design of heat dissipation system to avoid over-high oil temperature is the key to maintaining normal hydraulic oil temperature. If an abnormality occurs, the cause should be found and eliminated in time. When manipulating the hydraulic joystick and distribution valve, try to be stable, not too fast or too violently, and not to increase the engine throttle frequently, so as to minimize the impact of hydraulic oil on the hydraulic components. At the same time, the cooling system should be maintained in time to keep the temperature of the cooling system within a suitable range to reduce the energy released when the bubble bursts. While not affecting the normality of the coolant, some amount of anti-corrosion additives can be added to control rust.


3. Maintain the normal clearance of the joint surface of each hydraulic component. When manufacturing or repairing the main parts of the hydraulic cylinder, the assembly should be carried out according to the lower limit of the assembly size tolerance. Practice has proved that this can better reduce the occurrence of cavitation. If the hydraulic components have been cavitation, you can only use metallographic sandpaper to polish to remove the pitting and surface carbon of the cavitation. Do not use general fine sandpaper for polishing.


4. When repairing, pay attention to the exhaust hydraulic cylinder. After the repair, the hydraulic system should be run smoothly for some time to circulate the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system; if necessary, the oil inlet pipe (or return pipe) of the hydraulic cylinder can be removed Turn on to allow the hydraulic oil to overflow to achieve the effect of exhausting a single hydraulic cylinder.
