What should be paid attention to when transporting rolled tube

- Oct 03, 2025-

1. Ensure packaging is properly protected

Before transportation, the rolled tubes should be fully packaged and covered with soft protective material to prevent scratches and collisions during transportation. Protective padding should be added to weak areas such as joints to ensure that key areas are protected. The packaging material should have a certain cushioning performance to reduce the impact of external forces on the tube body and prevent the packaging material itself from contaminating the tube body.

2. Standardize loading operation procedures

Handle rolled tubes with care during loading. Avoid rough handling such as throwing or dragging to prevent deformation or joint damage. Arrange loading positions based on tube length and weight to ensure even distribution of force and avoid excessive localized pressure. Keep the tubes stable during loading to avoid tilting at excessive angles that could cause them to slip. Allow adequate space for subsequent securing operations.

3. Strengthening fixing and reinforcement measures

Use appropriate fixing tools to securely fasten the rolled tube to the transport equipment to ensure it does not shift or shake during bumpy transport. The fixing points should be evenly distributed to avoid deformation of the tube caused by a single point of force. The fixing force should be moderate to ensure stability without damaging the surface of the tube. Check the reliability of the fixing device to prevent loosening or breakage during transportation.

4. Control transportation environment conditions

During transportation, avoid exposing rolled pipes to extreme weather conditions for extended periods. In rainy and snowy weather, take measures to protect the pipes from moisture and rust. Keep them away from corrosive substances and high-temperature environments to prevent them from coming into contact with harmful media or experiencing performance degradation due to temperature fluctuations. Transport routes should be smooth as much as possible to minimize the impact of severe bumps on the pipes.

5. Pay attention to unloading management

Upon arrival at the destination, unload the pipe according to standard procedures, using specialized equipment to assist with unloading to prevent accidental damage during manual handling. During unloading, continuously monitor the condition of the pipe and verify that the packaging and securing procedures are intact. After unloading, place the rolled pipe on a flat, dry surface, promptly remove the packaging, and inspect the pipe for any damage caused by transportation. Any problems identified should be addressed promptly.
