2. The hardness of the cold drawn tube is too high after quenching. This type of problem may be related to the excessive cooling rate of the selected medium or the low temperature cooling rate of the medium. One solution is to change the quenching oil to meet the requirements. The second method is to contact the manufacturer of the quenching medium and add appropriate additives to slow down the medium and low temperature cooling rate of the quenching oil. The third method is to switch to a steel with low hardenability.
3. Quenching deformation. By speeding up the cooling rate and trying to achieve uniform cooling, the application should be done with reasonable measures of the same direction of action. It can solve the quenching deformation problem of most cold drawn pipe processing plants.
