Therefore, in the heat treatment process, the steel wire should be kept out of contact with these oxidizing gases.


In addition, if there is residue on the steel wire, some oxidizing gas will be generated after heating in the furnace, which causes this phenomenon. Therefore, we must control the atmosphere in the furnace to avoid this phenomenon.
