1. It should be a place of cleanness, smooth drainage of water, and far-away from mine or factory discharging exotic gas or dust. Meanwhile, clear up sundries on the ground and keep the tube clean;
2. Avoid pileup with any corrosive materials to steel like acid, alkaline, salt or cement. On the other hand, pile up different tubes separately to prevent it from mixture and contact corrosion;
3. Large structural steel, tunnel, sheet, tube of large diameter, forged steel and so on, can be piled up outdoors;
4. Medium and small structural steel, steel wire rod, steel rebar, tube of medium diameter, steel wire rope and so on, can be stored with cover and underlay in a shed with good ventilation;
5. Small structural steel, thin sheet, steel band, silicon steel sheet, tube of small diameter or thin wall, sorts of cold rolled or dawn steel and metallic product of high price and subject to corrosion, can be stored in a warehouse;
6. Apart from geographic factors, a warehouse is generally a closed type, literally with roof, wall, windows and door, and ventilator;
7. For a warehouse, ventilate in sunny day and prevent moisture in rainy day so as to keep appropriate conditions of storage.
